Easy & Fun Dessert Pizza

Ingredients:

For the crust

1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

2 tbsp melted butter

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

For the topping

8 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup powdered sugar

½ tsp vanilla

Fresh berries, sliced strawberries, kiwi, peaches, etc.

Optional glaze

Warm apricot preserves or apple jelly thinned with a little water

Instructions:

Pre-bake the crust

  1. Roll pizza dough into a 12-14″ circle.
  2. Brush lightly with melted butter.
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  4. Bake at 425°F until golden brown, about 10-14 minutes.
  5. Let cool completely.

Tip: Dock the dough with a fork before baking so it doesn’t puff excessively.

Make the “sauce”

  1. Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla
  2. Spread over cooled crust

Add toppings

Arrange fruit attractively

4. Glaze (optional)

Brush fruit lightly with warmed apricot preserves for that bakery shine.

Apple Pie Pizza

  • Butter + cinnamon sugar on crust
  • Top with sautéed cinnamon apples
  • Drizzle with caramel
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream

Nutella Berry Pizza

  • Bake crust with butter and sugar
  • Spread with Nutella after cooling
  • Add strawberries, raspberries, bananas
  • Dust with powdered sugar

S’mores Pizza

  • Bake crust with butter and sugar
  • Top with chocolate chips and mini marshmallows
  • Broil 30–60 seconds
  • Drizzle with chocolate sauce

Make Your Own Dessert Pizza Bar

If you want the kids to get creative, you can pre=cook personal-size pizzas ahead of time, then let each child decorate their own pizza dough, selecting from a buffet of sauces, fruits, candy, sprinkles, etc.
